Paris
I travelled Europe in the beginning of November month and weather conditions are dated accordingly.
I reached Paris from London at 11.47 A.M. (Paris time is an hour ahead of London). I had a tourist guide in Paris to explain about the architecture of the iconic places.
I took on a Paris city bus tour to Place de las Concorde which is a Public Square with fountains and art works. One can see a stone basin with an inverted upper vasque and a lower vasque. When you take a closer look, you will find water shot up from fish's mouth to the upper vasque cascades down to the lower one and then the basin. The architecture of the fountain is designed in the way that the North fountain was devoted to the Rivers and the South fountain devoted to the Seas; You will see the figures representing the fine details of Rivers (harvesting fruits and flowers, navigation, agriculture, etc.) and Seas (harvesting coral, shellfish, pearls, etc.) in the fountains.
This is a triumphal arch built to commemorate Napolean’s victories. People can light lamps in this memorial place. The lamps are lit 365 days and never put off anytime in a day.
One of the most beautiful avenues in the world you’ll ever see in your life. The avenue is covered by two rows of trees on both sides; the first row is the line of ‘Plane’ trees and the second row is ‘Chestnut’ trees. You’ll see all the retail stores spread on this avenue of 1.9 km. You’ll enjoy the walk and shopping on this avenue.
Finally, I reached ‘Eiffel Tower’ which is one of the World Wonders. As the belief of the people of Paris says, the tower is just a radio tower with an antenna which they dislike for some reason. The tower is painted at three level heights from bottom to top with dark brown to lighter shades to make it look the same colour shade since dark brown at top looks darker due to more steel rods at the level. After buying ticket at the counter, I waited in queue for an hour to take lift to second floor of the tower and waited another hour to take escalator till the top most third floor. It was freezing cold right from ground to top level. It’s better to wear woolen clothes and jackets to keep yourself warm as it is open space with hard wind. It was a beauty to view the tall architecture in day light, artificial lights (post evening) and sparkling lights (twinkle like stars which start at 7 P.M. and glorifies the tower for 7-10 minutes). You should be ready on the ground at 7 P.M. to watch the beauty and shoot but never miss it.
My next day started like every other day at a temperature of 11 to 12º C. I checked temperature all the days to wear comfortable clothes, jackets and shoes before leaving the hotel. I started my day to reach Brussels, Belgium.
