Switzerland

I travelled Europe in the beginning of November month and weather conditions are dated accordingly.

Switzerland is a beautiful country which is well-planned and constructed with a lot of tunnels throughout the city. It’s a rich country in which all the people are rich too.

Rhine Falls:

Leaving Germany, reached Rhine Falls and clicked beautiful photos where temperature dropped to 8º C. I took a boat ride in the falls which took us near the falls and it was high stream; be careful on boat near falls.

I stayed overnight in a hotel having glimpses of my beautiful journey before going to bed. Next day, started from hotel by 8.30 A.M. and travelled for an hour to reach Mt.Titlis.

Mt.Titlis:

When I reached Mt.Titlis, on the ground level, the temperature was 5º C whereas at the top of the mountain it was -5 º C. I went up to the cable car level at 3000 feet and then to 6000 feet and another cable car to 8000 feet and the top most level at 10,000 feet. So, I reached 8000 feet level first where it is the mountain top covered by ice at -5 º C. You can’t feel your body after staying for a long time. You can come to shelter for a break if you feel frozen buy you’ll definitely enjoy the snowfall here. Then came down to 6000 feet level and enjoyed the view of pine trees covered by ice and valley amidst the mountain. At this level, you won’t feel cold as your body is adapted to minus degrees already. On exit coming down to the ground level, you don’t need jacket anymore. You can have lunch at Mt.Titlis 6000 feet level but quite expensive.

Lion Monument:

After lunch, went to visit ‘Lion Monument’, the carving of a dying lion and you’ll be moved by this artwork. The temperature of Lucerne city turned to 9º C by evening. Near the Lucerne Lake, you can find the shopping market for Swiss watches, Swiss chocolates, Swiss knives, souvenirs, etc.

Can you feel the lion?

Lucerne Lake:

By evening, I visited ‘Lucerne Lake’ which looks clean and calm amidst the city.

Chapel Bridge:

I walked on ‘Chapel Bridge’ across the Lucerne Lake which is the World's famous wooden bridge with artwork and roof on it. Later on, went on the dinner cruise with Swiss music and DJ which went on for one and a half hour. In the cruise, I got a chance to play the musical instrument ‘Ail phone’ which looks like a very long thin trumpet and this was the first time I saw this instrument. The instrument should be played by keeping lips a little apart near the instrument mouth and make sound like baby’s play ppphooo. I enjoyed the dinner while cruising and DJ on the roof top feeling the cold wind and watching the beautiful city with lights.

I stayed overnight at a hotel in Lucerne and started the next day by 8.30 A.M. when the temperature is 0º C. We were travelling to ‘Liechtenstein’ while on the way could click beautiful photos of ‘Zurich Lake’ down the ‘Alps Mountain’ range which is spread long on the highways.
