Vatican City

I travelled Europe in the beginning of November month and weather conditions are dated accordingly.

After Rome, it was time to enter into the world’s smallest country ‘Vatican City’ inside the city of Rome. This is such a small country with a population of 1000 people and it is a view of 360º architecture.

St. Peter’s Basilica:

One should visit this ‘St. Peter’s Basilica’ but need to wait in queue for an hour mostly to enter inside but worth waiting to see the fine carvings on the walls and roofs with colourful paintings. The Basilica is well-lit to observe every fine detail in the architecture. You can see small mass prayers conducted inside the Basilica.

I bid adieu to the beautiful country and boarded flight in ‘Rome’ airport and not to forget collected the tax refund for Swiss watches. You can do a lot of shopping in ‘Rome’ airport from cosmetic products, bags, clothes and wine bottles as it is all duty free at the airport but shop fast and wait in the long queue to pay for your products. It is good not being late to the flight back to India completing baggage weight issues and immigration.
